Mike Nermut, Chairman of Board

 

Mike Nermut is co founder of Dytech Solutions and the former Managing Director of The Learning Edge International.

He has over 10 years of experience in the development and delivery of enterprise solutions particularly in the education and eLearning fields. Mike’s involvement in the delivery of online services stretches back to the beginning of Internet delivery within Australia. Mike is a board member of NetAlert, the Australian Federal Government Internet child safety association, member of the Intelligent Island Board and Chairman of the Tasmanian IT Council.

Jim Kurian, Director

Jim has over 10 years experience in the software development industry and has worked for a variety of companies including Unisys Australia.

Co-founding the Hobart- based IT consultancy Dytech Solutions in 1998, Jim and his business partner Mike Nermut secured The Learning Federation central infrastructure contract in 2001. He has been project manager and architect of several multi-million dollar software development projects around Australia and his focus is very squarely on the education sector. As a project manager at Dytech Solutions Jim has managed numerous large-scale software development projects for customers all around the country.

James Robinson, Director

James is the Chief Executive Officer of In-tellinc, the Tasmanian Intelligent Island IT Incubator.

With more than 10 years experience in the delivery of IT infrastructure and consulting services, James provides The Learning Edge International with in-depth strategic and commercial expertise. James has held senior positions at Deloitte Consulting in Australia, where he headed up the ASP and outsourcing practice and IBM Global Services, where he was responsible for mergers, acquisitions and commercial contract arrangements across Australia and New Zealand.

Peter Croger, Director – B.Sc.(Hons.), GAICD

Peter is an independent strategic and management consultant.

Peter has over twenty years experience of management consulting and executive leadership in e-learning and e-government. His consulting firm, Croger Associates, provides strategic advice to governments and education institutions throughput Australia and internationally. Peter has held executive levels position within government including that of Chief Information Officer for a state education department. He has also managed Australia’s national e-learning policy secretariats.

Bob Cupitt, Chief Executive Officer

Bob Cupitt is the Chief Executive Officer of The Learning Edge International.

He has over 10 years sales experience at a senior level dealing with key decision makers within the Education and Information Technology Industry. Bob brings experience from roles such as Regional Manager of Blackboard Australia and New Zealand, National Sales Manager of Datawatch Australia and Director of Desktop Access.
